Academic programme

Over years, Architecture has developed itself from mere designing of buildings and spaces into more intense discipline, both theoretically and technologically, where thorough understanding of multi discipline is required. An Architect is required to understand the intricacies of creating an environment and nurture his/ her skill of design towards creating an apt environment. There needs to be a holistic approach towards creation, which synthesizes various other aspects and issues of Architectural Building. A student passing from this course will be well equipped with the fundamentals of Architectural design.

A student passing this course shall be registered as an “Architect” with the “Council of Architecture” and shall practice as an Architect.

The curriculum is as prescribed by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi and Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala. The B.Arch Course is of 5 years (10 Semesters) full-time duration. The total Sanctioned intake is 40 seats.
