VISION

To strive for producing proficient electronics and communication engineers who can compete at local and global level and keep pace with advancements in technology.

MISSION

1. Produce proficient electronics and communication engineers by offering well balanced theoretical and practical technical programs.

2. Build with knowledge of core engineering, human values and professional intellectual qualities necessary for successful practice of the profession.

3. Develop skills to solve complex technological problems and provide a framework for innovative, collaborative and multidisciplinary tasks.

PEO's

1. To provide the students with a strong foundation in the mathematical, scientific and engineering fundamentals necessary to formulate, solve and analyze engineering problems in modern electronics engineering practices and to prepare them for graduate studies, R&D, consultancy and higher learning.

2. To develop an ability to analyze the requirements of the electronic hardware as well as software by providing appropriate training in relevant electronic hardware and software.

3. To provide exposure to emerging cutting edge technologies, adequate training & opportunities to work as teams on multidisciplinary projects with effective communication and technical skills to meet the requirements of National and multinational companies.

4. To prepare the students for a successful career and good leadership qualities to work with values & social concern bridging the digital divide.

5. To promote awareness on the continued learning and to introduce the faculty, staff and students in professional ethics and codes of professional practice.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES (PO)

1.   Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and an Electronics engineering specialization to the conceptualization of engineering models.

2. Identify, formulate, research literature and solve complex Electronics and Communication engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics and engineering sciences.

3.  Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design systems, components or processes that meet specified needs with appropriate  consideration for public health and safety, cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

4. Conduct investigations of complex problems including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of   information to provide valid conclusions.

5.  Create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering tools, including prediction and modelling, to complex  Electronics and Communication engineering activities, with an understanding of the limitations.

6.   Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams andin multi-disciplinary settings.

7.  Communicate effectively on complex Electronics engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large, such as being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.

8.  Demonstrate understanding of the societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to engineering practice.

9.  Understand and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of engineering practice.

10. Understand the impact of engineering solutions in a societal context and demonstrate knowledge of and need for sustainable development.

11. Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of management and business practices, such as risk and change management, and understand   their limitations.

12. Recognize the need for, and have the ability to engage in independent and life-long learning.
